Homemade Preserves

The Seasonal Garden, based in Ipswich, creates homemade preserves prioritising homegrown, locally sourced and UK grown ingredients where possible.  Our aim is to create a range of preserves without the addition of unnecessary or artificial ingredients but one that still tastes delicious!  Our range has also been created to optimise our use of British ingredients when they are in season and most abundant.  We only cook our chutney, pickle and relish for a very short time because we want you to be able to taste each and every ingredient and we find that this gives an extra freshness to each spoonful!  You may also notice that our jelly is a softer set than those you find in the supermarket, that’s because the only pectin our jelly contains is the kind you find in the Bramley apples we use to make it with!
