Review by Anne on July 24, 2017This is a great little lawnmower. It was a bit fiddly to put together, I must admit, and this took a while to assemble. Once done, it is very effective. My previous model was larger but this one is preferable because it is light weight and easy to carry. It cuts half of my grass before I needed to empty it. Again, being slightly smaller, the full grass box was easy to carry to my 'green' bin. The cord is a reasonable length although I do use an extension cable. -

Review by S King on August 22, 2015It is easy to put together. Just wished it could fold away more compactly. Only the handle folds in half so it still sticks out. And the cable is really annoying. I wish I ordered a battery operated one! Also it is really loud. It has a few level adjustments but it doesn't seem to work. I put it on the highest but it still cuts the grass as if it was on its lowest. You can only adjust the front 2 wheels so that is a bit pointless. -

It cuts really well, especially on uneven lawns like mine and also takes the edges close to fences, flagstones etc for a really neat looking lawn. Hardly need the strimmer these days. The mower is quite easy to store and I am generally impressed with it. Some of the reviews which I read before buying the mower mentioned the small catchment tray for the grass. It was so underpowered it would not hover on anything other than concrete so I had to take its weight whilst trying to mow the lawn. The blades were pathetic bits of plastic which bent the grass rather than cutting it. After struggling with it for a season and reverting to shears for all the edges, I decided I had had enough. Just a little fiddley to get the handle on with one person, but if you swear loudly enough and lock the dogs inside the house it can be managed. The grass box seems less robust than it actually is, and I can't quite understand the reviewers who have commented that it is difficult to slip it on and off the mower for emptying; perhaps Bosch have upgared the design, but I find it very easy to empty.

I purchased this mower after reading the reviews on here and wasnt sure what to expect as never had anything other than a flymo. I was so impressed I went over my lawn twice!!
I found it easy to put together and found adjusting the height fairly simple. I thought it would be too light but once I started mowing it was very good. It cut the grass with ease in half... -

I need a small mower I can carry up steps that doesn't take up too much space. I didn't really want a rotary, but the push-along type did my back in, and my small electric cylinder (from Bosch) bent the blade on the first stone it hit and from then on sounded like a jet taking off.
