When fittedat the rear of the lawn mower the mulch plug allows the grass cuttings to be mulchedinto tiny pieces which are then blown back onto the ground where they virtually disappear. These nutrient richpieces are re absorbed for a healthier lawn growth and appearance. The side and rear discharge options are useful in less formal and longer grass areas. The clippings can be left to wilt back naturally. The high rear wheels help with the handling of mower in longer grass and over uneven ground.
